last weekend, the girls and i met ben at the beach. he's been working away from home for the past 3 weeks, so we were in need of some quality time as a family. despite the chilly temperatures, we were able to enjoy the ocean, and we had a fun play date and lunch with some college friends-- we have SIX little girls among us... such fun! they jumped at an indoor bouncy house place, while we chatted and caught up with each other. then on sunday, before we headed back to the real world, we had a nice lunch with our friends paul & ayren and their cute kids. it was a much needed fun weekend away.
