It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year...
this evening, we put the girls in their christmas dresses, and headed to the beach, with grand plans of getting the perfect picture for christmas cards. of course, everything went smoothly-- everyone cooperated and gave me their best smiles. 
HA HA! lets be honest.... trying to get a one year old to do ANYTHING is nearly impossible. she was either trying to run away, or was trying to wiggle her way out of the arms of the person holding her. by the end of our photo session, she was miserable, and had a nice sand/snot mixture covering her face. we had several cat fights courtesy of sisters 1 & 2 as well, which made it even more fun. 
oh, and check out anna's sweet bangs (which she cut for herself at school last week, because she was "hot")-- they kept ending up in her mouth. lovely. 
... and no photo shoot would be complete without a little nose picking. i think ben called this one the "triple pick". ;)
