Jane continues to have issues with her ITP. she's been having appointments with the pediatric hematologist/oncologist, and has her platelet level checked every few weeks. she's SUCH a trooper about getting her finger pricked (she may or may not be motivated by the fantastic prize selection), and she has certainly charmed all of the nurses in the office. since we're leaving for CA, jane will have to find a new "prick" (that's what she calls the appt/dr....for instance, she'll say "do i go for my prick today?", or "can i get a princess band aid from my prick?"... hysterical). it was tough to leave everyone there- they were just great. here are a few photos from her last "prick" appt. =) notice her grand finale prize that the nurses gave her--- wedding day barbie! she was delighted.
