this afternoon, we took the girls on a nature walk in the woods. they were armed with ziploc bags to collect "fall things". they also brought along their friends mischief, attitude & drama. ;)
lucy enjoyed the ride from her stroller- looking up into the trees. she was a peach. 
anna & jane lovingly posed for some sweet sister shots. which quickly went from this:

and ended like this. oh, the drama!
then, jane hit the jackpot and found this fantastic stick.
she proceeded to drive us all crazy with it.
....until her sister got her hands on it.
que hissy fit # 2. i can't say as i blame her- that stick was pretty cool. 
oh, can this girl make some faces!!
these big white mushrooms were another cool find. the girls had a lot of fun checking them out. 
most of the afternoon went like this though-- lots of smiles & beautiful sights. we're thankful for this nice afternoon together.
