as if the last batch of snow wasn't enough to keep us busy, mother nature delivered a fresh layer of about 8 inches last night into today. it's a blizzard out there- wind howling, snow coming from every direction.... and where are we?? still in the house. still in our PJs. i would first like to say that it could be so much worse-- at least we have power, enough supplies, and each other. however, we're kind of running out of things to do around here! we did (barely) make it out of the neighborhood between storms to stock up at the grocery store and target. we even had lunch at panera, which was a real treat! today we've been keeping busy doing little projects with the girls- they made princess sun catchers, and also some valentines for school (should they return before valentine's day!). we had a picnic lunch on the floor, watched anna's dance party, i did some cleaning and organized jane's clothes dresser, and jane vacuumed under the dining room table for about 30 minutes. right now, ben & his little snow bunny (anna) are outside for their daily dose of shoveling/making some kind of snow creation.

Arinn we feel your cabin fever! :) I love knowing that I'm not the only one in the neighborhood; reorganizing, and finding random things to do: organize pictures, scrapbooking, clean David's closet, etc. :)
