this morning, we packed up bright and early and headed out to the beach. the weather was absolutely perfect, and we had a wonderful morning. anna must have run back and forth through the water about 40 times, and jane's favorite activity was splashing through the waves with daddy. when we got home, we had lunch and then the girls had a nice nap. ben and i took advantage of the quiet time by reading our books while lounging in the hammock. we've been so lucky to have had such a nice holiday weekend. the weather has been great, and thankfully the girls have been a dream. :) we hope everyone had a nice memorial day weekend.
