Christmas Packages!!

8 days until christmas.....

our poor mail man. for the past 3 years, we have stayed here in NC for christmas. that means that we have a lot of packages to send to friends & family.... and we always get a bunch in return! during the holiday season, the post office really should consider installing a conveyor belt at the end of our driveway up to the front door! our poor mail man has to schlep numerous boxes up to our house every day (sometimes making more than one trip!). today we got 5 packages. even though i am feeling bad for all of the work we're causing for the USPS, we sure do LOVE to get all of this holiday mail!! what a treat it is to get something other than bills & fliers in the mailbox. anna likes to retrieve the mail, and then we all devour the cards, letters, and pictures. today we also got a few new ornaments for our tree (thanks aunt lindsay!) and the girls got some fun little christmas books (thanks aunt jo!). wow. we sure do feel loved.....
