on tuesday, anna started first grade. WOW. i can't believe it. here she is with her friend diego, and getting settled in at school. the whole family dropped her off on her first day and we got to meet her teacher and check out her classroom & desk. she LOVES having her own desk- i asked her what she will put in it and she said, "everything in the whole world!" so exciting. this is how our converstaion went today after school: anna: "i have a new best friend. i think i like her even more than jane." me: "oh, really? what makes her such a good friend?" anna: "we take turns being reporter, and lots of fun stuff." me: "that's nice. what's her name?" anna: "hmm. i can't remember...." hee hee.
