here are the pictures (a whole bunch of them) from our trip to tennessee. we went to nashville for 4 days for my cousin's wedding. my dad's entire family was there (minus one of my cousins), and we all had such a blast. my uncle daryl was nice enough to open his home to us... it was gorgeous and had plenty of space for the girls to run. i can't even say how much fun we had.... it really was just a total blast. the night after we all got there, we left the girls at home with my sweet cousins (thanks again k & s!!) and we went down to downtown nashville for some fun. dayna tried to teach ben how to dance, and we all enjoyed the music & company. the next day was the wedding. it took place at the hermitage-- which was the home of president andrew jackson. there is a little church there on the land which provided the perfect place for a beautifully romantic wedding. the church doesn't have electricity, so it was a little bit warm inside, but it was just lovely. the girls of course were over-the-moon excited, as they've been waiting to go to a wedding for some time now. janey stole the show with her tireless dancing, and anna was in fairy tale heaven in such close proximity to a real bride! they had so much fun, despite the fact that the party went until about midnight. congrats again to chad & jen, and a thousand thank-yous to uncle daryl, darlene and the girls for their hospitality and all the fun times. i'll have to post the pictures of the road trip (22 hours in the car to be exact!) when i get a chance. i STILL have not unpacked our suitcases......
