a few nights ago, we were eating dinner, and anna announced to ben and i that she's going to get married. for those of you who know her, this is really not a surprise that she'd make such a comment. she's big into princesses, weddings, playing dress-up, etc. anyway, we asked her who she was going to marry. we thought she'd say one of her friends, or maybe her cousin cal, who knows. but apparently she had it all figured out in her head. she hopped up from the table and ran down the hall into our bedroom. she came back carrying our wedding photo and pointed at ben. she said, "i want to marry this boy. he's sooo handsome." we went along with it for a bit, and then told her that the boy in the picture was actually daddy. she said, "but daddy, you had hair?" ha ha. kids are so honest. and so cute.
